T&W Receives NBCUniversal Local Impact Grant

T&W is honored to be named a winner of the 2023 NBCUniversal Impact Grant. We extend our gratitude to Comcast NBCUniversal!

NBC 4 New York, Telemundo 47, and Comcast NBCUniversal recently announced the winners for their Impact Grant—given to local nonprofit organizations addressing their local communities’ needs. Grants were received for Next Generation Storytellers, Youth Education & Empowerment, and Community Engagement.

With the grant funds, T&W looks forward to continue impacting local NYC communities and schools through providing transformative writing and arts education programs for youth and lifelong learners. Through T&W Magazine and our teaching programs—including writing workshops for youth, art workshops for seniors, and training for teachers as well as the NY Youth Poet Laureate Program as we aim to continue sharing the power of literary arts in our community.
