Sari WilsonSari is a creative writer who works in fiction, nonfiction, and comics. Her prose has appeared in literary journals, national magazines, and anthologies. Her comics writing is featured in From Girls to Grrrlz: A History of Women’s Comics (Chronicle Books) and online in SMITH magazine. Sari was trained as a journalist and has worked as an editor at magazines such as the Nation, the American Lawyer, and Redbook. She received a Wallace Stegner Creative Writing fellowship at Stanford University. Sari loves teaching writing in its many forms to students of all ages and levels. She has taught creative writing, literature, and memoir at Stanford University, Provincetown Adult Education Center, Young Authors’ Conference at Westchester Community College, and Charles University in Prague. As an educational consultant, she offers professional development workshops in incorporating comics into a traditional classroom curriculum for venues including the Miami International Book Fair and New York City Department of Education.
